Your New Team
This position sits within our Chivas Brothers business. With 1,600 people across 27 sites, the team is dedicated to heritage, sustainability and innovation. Operations cover procurement, conversion, manufacturing, supply chain, innovation, talent development and risk management.
The Quality Systems and Improvement team of five people manages the Quality Management System and related software, audits, improvements and customer complaints. They work closely with product quality, regulatory, food safety, supplier quality and technical training functions.
Your Unique Contribution
The Quality Systems Leader will design and deliver an objective internal audit programme, facilitate external audits, and serve as a Key User for our Integrated Management and Food Safety systems, leading initiatives to improve the Quality Management System.
Main Responsibilities
Audit Support and Coordination: Plan and coordinate the internal audit program across 25 sites, ensuring coverage of all core business functions and certificate elements. Facilitate external audits.
Risk Assessment: Analyse and evaluate risk controls through objective, factual assessment.
Supporting Colleagues: Coach and support colleagues in operations on rootâcause analysis of nonâconformances, develop and deliver training to system users and provide analytical and administrative support for IMS/audit activities.
System Support: Key user for the Integrated Management System (IMS) software QâPulse, provide system support to all employees, coach departmental administrators and develop Document Control, CAPA and Audit modules to align with business requirements.
Driving Improvements: Lead initiatives to improve the Quality Management System, drive business improvement through audit and CAPA processes, engage with IMS action owners up to senior management, identify system KPIs, and conduct regular analysis and reporting of audit, CAPA and document control performance.
Who You\âll Be Working With
Internally, you\âll collaborate with colleagues across all UK sites, including senior management, and the Pernod Ricard Group Quality team. Externally, you\âll interact with suppliers and regulatory organisations.
Your Blend of Talent
Degree level qualification in a relevant subject and/or equivalent industrial experience in a similar role.
Expert knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and qualified internal auditor with experience of internal QMS audits.
Highly proficient with software, including Excel and PowerPoint, and ability to quickly learn new systems.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders.
Strong rootâcause analysis skills and ability to lead others through structured problemâsolving processes.
Enjoys a varied workload and delivers results within tight timescales.
Hold a current UK driving licence.
