Payroll Analyst in Glasgow

Your new role

The Payroll Analyst will be responsible for processing payroll, maintaining accurate records, and providing support to the payroll team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and experience working with payroll systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the smooth and accurate running of payroll, with a strong focus on payroll data and reporting.
• Upload and maintain payroll and employee data, including starters, leavers and employee changes.
• Check payroll data for accuracy and help resolve discrepancies.
• Support monthly payroll processing, reconciliations and payroll checks.
• Produce regular and ad-hoc payroll reports for HR and Finance.
• Respond to basic employee payroll queries and elevate where needed.
• Support payroll system updates, testing and process improvements.
• Help with year-end payroll activities and maintain accurate audit records.
• Ensure employee data is handled accurately, confidentially and in line with internal policies.
