The Catering Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day supervision and coordination of food services across all floors at the Chiswick Nursing Centre, using the Apetito Cook-Chill system. The role ensures that residents receive safe, nutritious, appetising meals that meet individual dietary, cultural and clinical needs.
Working four 9-hour shifts from 7.00am – 4.00pm, across 7 days (including 1 x crossover day).
Key requirements:
- Highly efficient and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Work a 36-hour week, on a 7-day rota basis, daytime shifts only.
- Prepare nutritious food and beverages to a high standard.
- Prepare special dietary meals as needed.
- Previous experience with computer literacy (intermediate Word, Excel & Outlook).
- Written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload and achieve deadlines.
- Possess an excellent understanding of Food Safety & HACCP regulations.
