As part of the Catering Team, your role will include a variety of tasks to help produce top class food and ensure a high-quality dining experience for the residents. Remuneration and Hours

  • £13.45 per hour
  • 28.5 hours per week
  • Working three 9.5-hour shifts per week, four days off, on a seven-day rota basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Nursing Home to work as a Catering Assistant. As part of the Catering Team, your role is to ensure that residents receive safe, nutritious, appetising meals that meet individual dietary, cultural and clinical needs resulting in a high-quality dining experience for the residents. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support the supervisors to manage and deliver all catering services in the home using the Apetito cook chill system.
  • Work as part of a team and independently.
  • Support cost-effective stock control to minimise waste.
  • Ensure the kitchen is kept clean and tidy, in line with regulatory and legislative requirements.
