A boutique economics consultancy is searching for an economist to join its energy practice focusing on power market modelling in London. The company is a leading consultancy in energy economics matters and has multiple offices across Europe.

The energy economics team in London is rapidly growing and the team is looking for someone who has experience in power sector modelling to work as a part of a team on multiple European projects, working with senior management, and developing their technical skills.

  • Working with some of the world’s leading energy brands

Required Skills

  • A graduate degree in Economics or Econometrics (MSc, MA, MPhil, PhD) with some knowledge of energy systems modelling (and specifically electricity systems modelling)
  • Experience of working on power sector modelling although power sector dispatch modelling is also considered.
  • Excellent quantitative skills such as data analysis/data science and mathematical programming
