Key Responsibilities
- Provide individualised 1:1 support for a pupil with complex medical needs
- Deliver structured interventions and support programmes as outlined in the EHCP
- Support the pupil’s social, emotional and academic development
- Work collaboratively with the SENDCo, class teacher, and wider support staff
- Monitor and record progress against EHCP outcomes
The Ideal Candidate Will
- Have experience working with children with SEND, ideally those with medical needs
- Be patient, nurturing and resilient
- Have a good understanding of EHCPs and targeted interventions
- Communicate effectively and work well as part of a team
- Be committed to supporting inclusion and positive outcomes for all pupils
