Position:
We are looking for an energetic, analytical, data driven, customer-centric Head of Ecommerce to grow our brand through a range of campaigns that deliver tangible change results.
You will direct and prioritise all ecommerce initiatives and strategies, reporting to the Chief Technology Officer. You will manage the business’ ecommerce function, and external agencies, developing a winning online strategy to drive continual growth. Specifically, you’ll develop and execute a digital strategy with the aim of achieving growth in e-commerce revenue.
This role will suit you if you have previous Ecommerce experience where you have demonstrated growth, ideally with B2C brands within a luxury environment.
We are a rapidly growing team, so you’ll need to be comfortable with being both hands-on and strategic.
KEY Role Responsibilities
Commercial Strategy
- Developing, implementing, and delivering the eCommerce plan and targets
- Develop effective marketing campaigns, on time and within budget
- Strategically develop e-commerce-related promotional campaigns to achieve the targeted exponential growth
- Ensure Marketing and Ecommerce functions are working in alignment to ensure brand consistency
- Managing demand generation across all channels to include paid, organic, affiliate, social and email and using on-Site analytics and conversion testing software to embed and manage a formal test:measure:learn approach to channel optimisation
- Develop, implement and optimise eCRM to improve customer retention and lifetime value metrics
- Directly line managing the Digital Trading Assistants
- Work closely with colleagues to identify opportunities to reach new market segments and expand market share
- Collaborate with the web merchandising and buying team to continually optimise product and pricing mix across web properties.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure that planned marketing campaigns and promotions are executed effectively across all digital channels and web properties
- Set up and monitor ROI and KPIs
- Generate a monthly report regarding all marketing activities related to e-commerce
- Measure and monitor Customer Experience through the use of analytics, using data to develop and deliver quarterly action plans.
The Ideal Candidate
Essential
- Availability to work fully onsite
- At least 3 years’ experience in growing an eCommerce business
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong analytical and project management skills
- A commercial attitude with experience of managing large-scale budgets and working to strict KPIs
- Ideally experience within the luxury sector, retail or hospitality
