Engineering TechnicianJob Description:To support Design Engineers in all aspects of the design, characterisation and release of RF & Microwave ComponentsMain Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform prototype and pre-production testing of RF & Microwave components.
- Perform temperature testing on RF and Microwave components.
- Accurately record, document, and file, test results for internal and customer use.
- Maintain the Engineering lab, consumable purchases and repairs, and general lab tidiness.
- Assist in New Product Introduction and other engineering queries.
- Source materials for new designs.
Key Competencies Required:
- Good understanding and working knowledge of RF test equipment such as Network Analysers, Spectrum Analysers, and Generators is essential.
- Good understanding of RF concepts
- Good soldering skills
- Computer literate
- Good planning and organisational skills and ability to prioritise
