Engineering TechnicianJob Description:To support Design Engineers in all aspects of the design, characterisation and release of RF & Microwave ComponentsMain Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform prototype and pre-production testing of RF & Microwave components.
  • Perform temperature testing on RF and Microwave components.
  • Accurately record, document, and file, test results for internal and customer use.
  • Maintain the Engineering lab, consumable purchases and repairs, and general lab tidiness.
  • Assist in New Product Introduction and other engineering queries.
  • Source materials for new designs.

Key Competencies Required:

  • Good understanding and working knowledge of RF test equipment such as Network Analysers, Spectrum Analysers, and Generators is essential.
  • Good understanding of RF concepts
  • Good soldering skills
  • Computer literate
  • Good planning and organisational skills and ability to prioritise
  • Deadline and detail oriented
  • Good interpersonal and communications skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment

Job Qualifications:
