FPGA/Bench Digital Evaluation EngineerThis position will be based onsite working on our clients\’ new product pre silicon validation of power controller devices.The candidate will have the opportunity to develop measurement systems and validate product functionality and performance to ensure our products meet all specifications.Responsibilities
- Responsible for the specification and design of FPGA blocks.
- Design documentation including FPGA requirements, specifications, design descriptions, and test specifications.
- FPGA laboratory-based verification work, system integration and test.
- Support existing FPGA design verification and board test activities.
- Write, simulate & verify Verilog based FPGA designs.
- Proficiency with Python, C/C++ to enable simulation and bench test result analysis.
- Pre-Silicon verification of the design using simulation tools and FPGA.
Qualifications
- Expert in FPGA design flow such as: Verification, Synthesis, Partitioning, Place & Route, and Timing Closure.
- Knowledge of interface protocols, memory technologies and communication interfaces (SPI, I2C).
- Strong understanding of the fundamental digital and analog circuit function.
- Knowledge of embedded systems and processor architectures.
**Please note this role requires permission to work in Ireland as it is a fully onsite role.**
