Chipright seeks highly motivated and experienced European based Analog/RF Layout engineers to work on an exciting project with one of our UK clients. Responsible for designing physical layout of custom analog/RF and top level block placements and routings. Working closely with designers, the chosen layout engineer shall have a good working knowledge of RF antenna components.
Requirements:
- Experience in custom RF/analog layout with extensive knowledge of deep sub-micron CMOS (40nm, 28nm, FinFET, etc.)
- Knowledgeable in layout techniques for device matching, minimizing parasitics, RF shielding, and high frequency routing
- High level proficiency in interpretation of CALIBRE DRC, ERC, LVS, etc.
- Knowledge of CADENCE layout tools
- Profound knowledge of Cadence and/or Mentor graphic tools
- Collaborate with Applications, Process Technology, CAD, Test, Reliability, Marketing and Product Engineering
- Excellent understanding of mixed-signal semiconductor circuit technology
- Ability to liaise with IC Layout Engineer on floorplanning, sensitive nodes, matching etc.
- Regular technical communication with customers
- Provide technical support to junior engineers
