Qualifications and Experience

  • Relevant educational qualifications at school/college
  • First Aid qualification (or willingness to complete the course)
  • Pool, plant, health and safety professional knowledge and experience
  • Sound, practical DIY skills including repairs and decorating
  • Familiarity with relevant health and safety and safe working practices
  • Ability to build good relationships with young people, colleagues and staff
  • Awareness of security safety procedures including key holder/lock-up procedures
  • Experience in manual services and labour across a range of duties
  • School or college environment experience
  • Porterage of items around a large site
  • Parcel collection and delivery
  • Swimming pool and plant operation
  • Experience of water management
  • Caretaking, cleaning and site services experience
