Education and qualifications
- Recognised technical theatre qualifications / professional experience
- GCSE Maths & English
- Health and Safety / First Aid (or willingness to train)
- Valid full, clean driving licence
Professional knowledge and experience
- Experience of providing the technical support for staging of large, medium, and small-scale productions
- A good knowledge of theatre/technical systems, including lighting, sound, tools, and equipment and set construction
- An enthusiasm for theatre, cinema, and the performing arts
- Good customer service skills and reputational awareness
- Ability to establish good rapport with adults and young people and understand their varying needs
- Knowledge of COSHH and Fire regulations
- Able to supervise staff
- Portable Appliance Testing
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
