Education and qualifications

  • Recognised technical theatre qualifications / professional experience
  • GCSE Maths & English
  • Health and Safety / First Aid (or willingness to train)
  • Valid full, clean driving licence

Professional knowledge and experience

  • Experience of providing the technical support for staging of large, medium, and small-scale productions
  • A good knowledge of theatre/technical systems, including lighting, sound, tools, and equipment and set construction
  • An enthusiasm for theatre, cinema, and the performing arts
  • Good customer service skills and reputational awareness
  • Ability to establish good rapport with adults and young people and understand their varying needs
  • Knowledge of COSHH and Fire regulations
  • Able to supervise staff
  • Portable Appliance Testing
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
