Education/trainingand qualifications

Relevantdegree or diploma

Healthand Safety / First Aid (or willingness to train)

Computerliteracy in Microsoft Office Software, Gardiff, Ticketsolve and Sling

Professionalknowledge and experience

Significant experience in a leadership role within atheatre, arts venue, visitor attraction or comparable cultural organisation.

Experience of strategic planning,business development and delivering organisational growth.

Excellent leadership and people management skills

Strong commercial awareness and financial managementskills.

Experience of budget preparation, forecasting andreporting.

Proven ability to develop partnerships and stakeholderrelationships.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ableto communicate effectively with members of the public, staffand all stakeholders

Experience in overseeing websites, digitalcommunications and online sales channels.

Understanding of health and safety, safeguarding andcompliance requirements

Experience of using and managing digital systemsrelevant to venue operations including ticketing platforms such asTicketsolve or similar CRM / ticketing systems.

Experience working within acharitable organisation or reporting to trustees.

Knowledge of arts funding,fundraising, sponsorship and grant applications

Experience of audiencedevelopment and cultural participation initiatives.

Understanding of theatreproduction and technical operations.

Experience of managing licensedpremises and hospitality operations.

Familiarity with CRM systems,digital marketing tools and website content management systems.
