Job Overview: The candidate will oversee the day-to-day operations and development of the tool hire department in our Newcastle Depot , ensuring efficient and profitable management of the tools and equipment. The successful candidate will maintain inventory, and provide exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities: Manage the daily operations of the tool hire department, potentially across multiple branches. Maintain and manage inventory, ensuring availability and quality of tools and equipment. Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction. Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and efficiently. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies. Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of tools and equipment. Qualifications: Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in tool hire or a related industry. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and customer service abilities. Knowledge of tools, plant equipment, and related products. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
