At Chippindale Plant Hire, were looking for an experienced Plant Mechanic/Fitter to be part of our growing team, maintaining and servicing our diverse fleet of plant & machinery. Working on-site in Leeds, your expertise will be crucial in minimizing downtime and ensuring our equipment stays in peak condition. What youll be doing: Hands-on servicing & maintenance of a wide range of plant and construction equipment. Diagnosing faults and performing repairs or component replacements to ensure machinery is always operational. Carrying out defect inspections and providing detailed diagnostic reports. Maintaining a clean, organized workshop environment. No two days are the same! You may be called upon to tackle new challenges as they arise. What were looking for: You hold an NVQ Level 2, City & Guilds, or equivalent, with hands-on experience as a Plant Fitter maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing plant & construction equipment. You thrive under pressure, meet deadlines, and take pride in delivering exceptional results. Youre an independent worker with strong organizational skills and a commitment to excellence. Manufacturer training would be a bonus but dont worry if youre not certified yet
