Chippindale Plant is one of the largest privately owned plant hire and sales companies in the North of England with 6 depots. Established in 1949, it provides a complete hire and sales service for a wide range of Construction Plant, Tools, Excavator Attachments and Secure Site Accommodation.
We are looking for a yard operative to work at our Leeds Site Cabin Division. The job role includes the following duties:
- Cleaning welfare cabins and toilet blocks to a high standard internally and externally
- Preparing cabins for the paint shop and painting when trained
- General yard maintenance duties
- Manual and materials handling
- Assisting the refit team and developing skills to carry out maintenance and refit tasks
- DIY skills like plumbing and joinery would be preferable
A driver's licence would also be needed for help out on site maintenance and repairs. Additional training will be provided with upskilling opportunities.
We are looking for a reliable and hard-working person who wants a long-term stable job with consistent hours as a yard operative. This role involves a lot of outside work and also working in wet conditions.
