Attachment Fitter in Leeds

We are currently recruiting for an attachment fitter:

Job Purpose

Delivering and installing a wide range of excavator attachments on customers sites, attending breakdowns to carry out repairs for customer attachments and preparing hydraulic attachment for hire.

Key skills & Duties

-Inspecting attachments for defects

-Servicing and maintenance

-Undertaking routine inspections of various equipment

-Dismantling and repairing or replacing fault components

-Reassembling and testing components to ensure they are working safely

-Performing checks on new equipment/ attachment before first use

-Ensuring the attachments are designed for use with a specific machine

-Acquiring the correct parts for fixing of the attachments

-Using reports to diagnose faults

-Updating service records

-Escalating faults to managers

-Use of a wide range of specialist tools

-Keeping the workshop area clean and tidy

-Heavy lifting of attachments and machinery
