Chippindale Plant is one of the largest privately owned plant hire and sales companies in the North of England with 6 depots. Established in 1949, it provides a complete hire and sales service for a wide range of Construction Plant, Tools, Excavator Attachments and Secure Site Accommodation.
We are looking for a yard operative to work at our Leeds Site Cabin Division
The job role include the following duties:
Cleaning welfare cabins and toilet blocks to a high standard internally and externally
Preparing Cabins for the paint shop and painting when trained
General yard maintenance duties.
Manual and materials handling
Assisting the refit team and develop skills to carry out maintenance and refit tasks.
DIY skills like plumbing and joinery would be preferable.
A drivers licence would also be needed for help out on site maintenance and repairs
Additional training will be provided with upskilling opportunities.
We are looking for a reliable and hard working person who wants a long term stable job with consistent hours as a yard operative. This role involves a lot of outside work and also working in wet conditions.
