We’re looking for a Regional Human Resources Business Partner to strategise with our restaurant leadership team to create an environment where our employees can thrive. You should and have a proven track record of coaching and developing leaders at all levels within the organization and leading employee engagement initiatives that create best-in-class work environments and drive results. As HRBP, you’ll provide thought partnership and guidance to functional leaders throughout our talent and performance management cycles. In this position, you must understand HR principles and legal frameworks and be able to apply this knowledge to identify practical solutions for our business challenges. Additionally, you must be able to interpret and localize Chipotle policies and practices, employment law and other regulations to provide advice, guidance and/or clarification for employee relations related inquiries. You will partner with Regional and Corporate Leadership to hire top talent and set them up for success. A passion for fresh guac might come in handy as well!
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Talent Attraction & Retention
- Ensure the European business is staffed and stable •
- Define the resourcing strategy for the European business
- Drive application flow via effective third-party management
- Partner with Field Leadership to support their ability to select and retain talent
- Drive workforce planning that aligns with our business strategy
- Monitor monthly performance in the area of staffing and retention and offer insights into how we can improve our people culture to support market stability
Talent Development
- Partner to build a pipeline of future leaders at all levels that enables right person, right place, right time.
- Facilitate people planning sessions to deliver effective succession and talent development plans
- Guide Leadership on how to leverage talent management tools
- Support Leadership on how to identify performance gaps, write and execute on performance improvement plans
- Engage consistently with executive leadership to assess and coach on talent capability, potential, and development.
- Drive quarterly performance conversations and annual review process
Compliance
- Champion safe, respectful and inclusive cultures where employees thrive and model Chipotle’s purpose and values.
- Establish the link between front-line teams and executive leadership by bringing the peoples perspective to the executive table
- Lead the localization of Chipotle’s employee value proposition, compensation, and total rewards to ensure that the people experience is consistent with market expectations
- Act as the custodian for legal compliance in the HR space across the European business to ensure local best practice
- Partner with US COEs to support the business in the areas of ethics, compliance, and respectful workplace investigations
- Be knowledgeable and proactive about impending regulatory change and prepare the business to navigate legal change successfully
Functional Leadership: Recruitment, HR
- Lead and Develop a team of local HR subject matter experts
- Provide effective leadership over the People Experience vertical in Europe
- Ensure team productivity and goal achievement via effective coaching, feedback and resource management
- Support the cross functional relationship building that impacts on the People Experience team
Strategy
- Lead the people strategy for Europe
- Partner with the US business to understand the global people strategy and localize to ensure synergy with European business priorities
- Act as a strategic thought partner for the Europe Executive Leadership team
- Be the voice of the European business to localise US led strategic iniatives that need to land locally
- Drive the optimization of our HR tools & systems
