We have an exciting opportunity for a people focused, results driven people experience partner to join our senior leadership team at Chipotle Europe. This role works closely with our restaurant teams to help shape a growing and thriving people culture. You should have a proven track record of coaching and developing leaders at all levels within the organization and leading employee engagement initiatives that create best-in-class work environments and drives real results.
Key to this position, is the ability to understand HR principles and legal frameworks to identify practical solutions for our business challenges. Additionally, you must be able to interpret and localise Chipotle policies and practices, employment law and other regulations to provide advice, guidance and/or clarification for employee relations related inquiries. You will partner with Regional and Corporate Leadership to hire top talent and set them up for success. You must be truly Guest Obsessed and relentless about delivering on our people and growth objectives.
WHAT YOU WILL DO – The Top 5
Support Leadership in their ability to Select and Build Effective Teams
- Partners with Leaders to ensure the region is staffed and stable
- Define the resourcing strategy for our restaurants and support centre
- Drive application flow via effective third-party management
- Partner with Field Leadership to support their ability to select and retain talent
- Monitor monthly performance in the area of staffing and retention and offer insights into how we can improve our people culture to support market stability
Partner with Leadership to build a pipeline of future leaders at all levels
- Facilitate people planning sessions to deliver effective succession and talent development plans
- Guide Leadership on how to leverage talent management tools
- Engage consistently with leadership to assess and coach on talent capability, potential, and development
- Drive performance conversations and the annual review process
- Partner with Learning and Development to support professional development opportunities for the region
Drive a Culture of Accountability and Compliance
- Champion a safe, respectful and inclusive culture where employees thrive and model Chipotle’s purpose and values
- Establish the link between front-line teams and executive leadership by bringing the peoples perspective to the leadership table
- Partner with HR and Compliance to drive employee policy
- Partner with US COEs to support the business in the areas of ethics, compliance, and respectful workplace investigations support policy development and legal compliance in the HR space to ensure local best practice
Drive people strategy to enable a business growth through people growth
- Use key business metrics and a solid understanding of business operations to develop tailored solutions and innovation
- Stay curious and research best practices in learning, growth, and development to ensure our teams evolve in progressive ways
- Leverage technology and data analytics to drive decision making for Leadership
- Coach, counsel, and guide Leadership regarding people interactions and project execution
- Drive change management to deliver strategic initiatives
Foster an employee experience of Reward and Inclusivity
- Lead the localization of Chipotle’s employee value proposition and total rewards to ensure that the people experience is consistent with market expectations
- Partner with Operations and Finance to deliver
- Drive the regions recognition strategy in line with the business priorities
- Ensure that all people processes are led through the lense of inclusivity
- Support a culture of engagement and drive activities that foster a sense of inclusion
