The Payroll Operations Analyst supports the daily operational support of payroll our international business. This role works independently and maintains a strong understanding of payroll methods, procedures, and terms. Analyzes reports and records to ensure compliance and to improve efficiencies within payroll processes and procedures. Assists in resolving high-level payroll questions and issues. This role collaborates with key stakeholders in-country as well as across Global Payroll, HR, the ESC, and Payroll Tax to ensure consistent support, problem resolution, and continuous improvement. This role maintains responsibility for owning the specialized process consistency and improvements needed to ensure accurate execution.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Responsible for the end-to-end payroll process for specific countries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in payroll delivery.
- Serve as the primary contact for payroll processing, fostering a strong partnership with ADP for third-party payroll services.
- Address and resolve all ad hoc payroll requests for corporate and field employees, ensuring precision in payroll outputs, and providing exceptional customer service to our restaurant staff.
- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and improve compliance, driving continuous improvement initiatives
- Monitor business processes within the Workday platform that intersect with payroll, ensuring seamless integration and user experience.
- Provide bi-weekly/monthly review and analysis of our payroll reports including, but not limited to, supporting accounting, finance, and operational inquiries to payroll reporting impacts to the business.
- Serve as the in-country payroll processing expert which includes, but is not limited to, reviewing & partnering on all payroll tax procedures, payroll compliance metrics & reporting, legal adherence to all regulations, national insurance & pension contribution tie outs, and ensuring all applicable system calculations meet internal standards & controls.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE
- B.A./B.S. in related field, CPP preferred.
- Proficiency in Excel required
- Payroll and timekeeping system administration experience required.
- Workday and ADP GlobalView experience preferred.
- Knowledge of payroll administration, controls, governance, and accounting best practices with established network for keeping current.
- Knowledge of current regulatory and compliance obligations related to payroll, and how to fulfill them in a timely and accurate manner.
