We’re looking for a Product Manager who sweats the details, takes real ownership, and knows how to get things done. Someone who cares deeply about building great products in the investing and pensions space, and understands the responsibility that comes with it.

You’ll work within a squad focused on improving and evolving our execution-only investments and/or pensions experience, making it simpler, clearer, and more effective for customers. This is a hands-on role where progress matters: shaping ideas, working closely with engineers and designers, and seeing things through to delivery.

What you can expect to be doing:

  • Scope improvements and new features for the Execution-only Products in our Assets Collective
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organisation, including operations, commercial, finance, marketing, and compliance to build a world-class platform
  • Work with the leadership team in your business line to understand the business strategy and product vision and build a roadmap accordingly
  • Work with an engineering squad to execute your roadmap by defining and building brand-new features from the ground up
  • Collaborate with the other PMs in the Assets Collective to ensure our users have end-to-end experiences that feel coordinated with the rest of the Chip app
  • Plan across complex internal and external dependencies with third-party providers to go from idea to successful implementation
  • Use data, market and industry knowledge to understand opportunities and shape and inform solutions

What we’re looking for:

  • You have a strong passion for Product: you have 2 years + of product experience
  • Experience working in a startup/scaleup environment is a bonus
  • You are passionate about the wealth space: you keep up to date on what’s happening in the finance/fintech space, and you have a big-picture understanding of the investments and pension market, what our competitors do, what works and what doesn’t
  • You have strong UX skills and instincts: you have experience working on consumer-facing mobile-first products
  • You are an effective communicator: experience making decisions and communicating this to leadership and the team around you
  • You are data-driven: you care deeply about the numbers and use them to spot problems, and opportunities and shape solutions
  • You are commercially astute: you can understand how our business model works and you are always keeping revenue, costs and profit at the forefront of your mind.
  • You are truly excited by Chip’s vision and proposition
  • You understand and share our values

What we’re really looking for:

We’re looking for someone who’s genuinely excited about Chip and energised by the opportunity to help build the future of wealth, making saving, investing and pensions simpler and more accessible for everyone. We work in a regulated space, so the bar is high. But we’ve built a team of smart, thoughtful people who care about doing great work and enjoy doing it together. Technical skills matter, obviously. But they’re not the only thing we hire for.

We want real people. People with interests, perspective and personality. The best teams are made up of individuals who bring different experiences into the room, not just polished CVs and good interview answers. So alongside the technical side, we’ll be looking for empathy, self-awareness, sound judgement, resilience and a collaborative mindset. People who are good to work with, especially when things get hard.
