We're looking for a CRM Strategist to drive Chip's customer engagement and growth strategy through data-led planning, ideation, and cross-functional collaboration. This role sits at the centre of our CRM function, defining how we use lifecycle communications to deliver against our North Star Metrics and ensuring CRM is aligned with our wider product and growth goals.
You will translate business objectives into actionable CRM initiatives, lead workshops to shape new ideas, and work closely with Product, Growth, and Data squads to ensure CRM delivers measurable impact. You will also own performance reporting and dashboards, ensuring the team's work is visible, optimised, and grounded in insight.
This is a strategic role for someone who loves combining creativity with data — a thinker and planner who can see the big picture, understand customer journeys, and shape how we communicate across the lifecycle.
What you can expect to be doing:
- Strategy & Planning
- Define and own specific CRM strategies in line with company goals and North Star Metrics (NSM).
- Translate business and product objectives into clear, testable CRM initiatives.
- Lead ideation workshops to generate new lifecycle and growth campaigns.
- Build quarterly roadmaps that align CRM initiatives with product releases and squad priorities.
- Provide strategic briefs and direction to CRM Production and Operations teams for campaign build.
- Performance & Insight
- Create and maintain dashboards to monitor CRM performance, ensuring visibility across teams.
- Report regularly on CRM performance against NSM, highlighting insights and actions.
- Set hypotheses, define success metrics, and oversee test-and-learn frameworks.
- Partner with Data and Analytics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for optimisation.
- Deliver presentations and updates to stakeholders, representing CRM's contribution to growth.
- Collaboration & Leadership
- Act as the strategic voice of CRM for your vertical.
- Collaborate with Product, Growth, and Marketing to align lifecycle communications with user experience.
- Provide final approval and sign-off for strategic CRM-led communications initiatives.
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience in CRM or Lifecycle Marketing strategy, ideally within a high-growth or fintech environment.
- Strong understanding of CRM platforms (Braze experience a plus) and lifecycle automation.
- Analytical mindset with experience in performance reporting, dashboards, and data interpretation.
- Comfortable developing and testing hypotheses, designing experiments, and interpreting results.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong planning and organisational skills, capable of managing multiple projects and priorities.
- Collaborative and creative, with a passion for understanding customer behaviour and improving engagement.
What we're really looking for:
Someone with a genuine interest in Chip and is excited about being part of a fast-growing company and our mission to build the investment super app of the future.
Although we're in the financial space, and under the scrutiny that comes with it, the current marketing team works well together, and even sometimes with a smile. We want a real person, with interests outside of work, to join our team.
