Conveyor Belt Fitter - Trainee or Experienced
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Conveyor Belt Fitter to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting conveyor belt systems used across various industrial and manufacturing settings. Your expertise will ensure the smooth operation of conveyor systems, minimise downtime, and enhance overall productivity. Responsibilities
Install new conveyor belt systems, ensuring precise alignment and secure fastening according to specifications.
Conduct routine inspections of conveyor belts to identify wear, damage, or misalignment.
Perform preventive maintenance tasks to prolong the lifespan of conveyor components and prevent breakdowns.
Repair or replace damaged belts, rollers, motors, pulleys, and other conveyor parts efficiently to minimise operational disruptions.
Collaborate with engineering teams to optimise conveyor system performance and implement upgrades or modifications as needed.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and future reference.
Basic mechanical knowledge is ideal but not critical as full training will be given, we will consider a candidate with no to full experience.The candidate with need a full clean driving license.
