Chinti & Parker is seeking an accomplished Merchandiser to support the commercial performance of our luxury knitwear collections across E-commerce and Wholesale channels. This role is integral to protecting brand equity while delivering sales, margin, and stock objectives across key global luxury partners. Working closely with the Commercial Director, you will bring a refined, detail-driven approach suited to a premium, design-led business.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute the merchandising strategy set by the Commercial Director, ensuring alignment with the brand’s luxury positioning.
- Drive sales and profitability through considered in-season trading and disciplined stock management.
- Produce weekly trade reports with clear commercial insight, highlighting opportunities and risk.
- Lead end-of-season performance analysis and reporting.
- Develop and manage markdown and clearance strategies that protect brand integrity.
- Partner with the Commercial Director on range architecture and option planning across all territories.
- Own and manage WSSI across E-commerce and Wholesale channels globally.
- Manage budgets, phasing, and reforecasting to support commercial and creative objectives.
- Set pricing across GBP, EUR, and USD markets, collaborating closely with Design to deliver target intake margins while maintaining a premium price position.
E-commerce & Marketplaces
- Oversee E-commerce stock management and in-season availability.
- Manage marketplace trading in line with luxury brand standards and commercial goals.
Wholesale & Key Accounts
- Manage in-season wholesale stock availability and OTB.
- Share responsibility with the Commercial Director for day-to-day trading and markdown strategy across key partners, including support for end-of-season analysis and strategic reviews with wholesale partners.
Stock & Inventory Management
- Manage end-of-season and terminal stock with a focus on controlled, brand-appropriate clearance routes.
- Maintain close relationships with international clearance and outlet partners.
- Oversee stock across UK, EU, and US warehouses.
- Analyse size curves, product performance, and market trends to inform future range decisions.
People & Stakeholder Management
- Line manage and develop the Merchandise Assistant.
- Build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners, reflecting the professionalism of a luxury brand.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Merchandiser within a fashion environment.
- Advanced Excel skills with the ability to confidently manage WSSI.
- Highly analytical, numerate, and meticulous with exceptional attention to detail.
- Organised, calm, and assured in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment.
- Strong fashion sensibility and understanding of luxury market dynamics.
- Experience with Shopify, Zedonk, and/or NuOrder.
- Experience working within a design-led or founder-owned environment.
