Overview
Chingford Academies Trust is seeking talented and dedicated Self Employed Peripatetic Music Teachers to join its vibrant and supportive music departments at Chingford Foundation School and South Chingford Foundation School. We are looking for experienced teachers in voice, piano, guitar, bass guitar and drums/percussion who are passionate about inspiring and developing the next generation of musicians.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality one-to-one instrumental and vocal lessons, working with students across a range of abilities.
- Support students in their musical development, helping them prepare for GCSE, BTEC and A-Level coursework.
- Contribute to whole school and trust performances, as well as external music examinations (including Trinity, ABRSM, and Rock School).
- Opportunity to run group instrumental lessons and group ensembles/clubs where available.
Requirements
- Self Employed Peripatetic Music Teacher with experience in voice, piano, guitar, bass guitar and drums/percussion.
- Passionate about inspiring and developing young musicians.
- Commitment to pupil safety and safeguarding.
- Enhanced DBS Disclosure Check required.
