Responsibilities include:
- Reviewing and updating the Company policies & procedures, staff contract & handbook according to updated employment law and Management Team's decisions.
- Drafting job descriptions, placing job adverts, screening applicants, conducting interviews, checking references, sending job offer letters, preparing employment contracts, and working closely with recruitment agencies to expand the source of talent for Europe.
- Planning, organizing, and participating in the whole internal staff onboarding, promotion, separation process, role changes, and company restructuring processes where necessary.
- Providing all aspects of HR support and advice to Department Directors in the UK, including talent acquisition, employment compliance, employee relations, and employee capability procedures.
- Working with in-house legal counsels and employment lawyers to deal with employee complaints and performance concerns.
- Analysing data including headcount, labour cost, productivity rate, and staff turnover rate.
- Assisting existing employees and potential employees to obtain CoS to work in the UK legally; managing the Sponsorship Management System as Level 1 user on behalf of the Company.
- Liaising with the Hong Kong Head Office for expatriate managers to work in the UK.
- Working with the Personnel Manager to organize and develop staff training such as training for managers and all levels of employees.
- Collecting KPI information from all directors, summarising the KPI in the required format from Head Office Hong Kong, and uploading it to the CUE KPI systems.
- Issuing employment confirmation letters, public notices, and business invitation letters with other HR team members.
- Processing HR-related invoicing.
- Other tasks assigned by the Management Team.
Qualifications:
- 5 years HR generalist experience in the UK.
- Educated in Human Resources and CIPD Level 5 or above certification.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin in reading, listening, writing, and speaking.
- Proficient in UK employment law, immigration law, and GDPR compliance in HR practices.
- Great numeric and literacy skills.
- Right to work in the UK is required.
