We are looking for a part-time HR Assistant to support the HR team with daily HR operations, employee lifecycle administration, recruitment coordination, payroll and performance data support, vendor coordination, and other HR-related tasks. This role is suitable for candidates who are interested in developing their career in Human Resources, with strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to handle confidential employee information professionally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a point of contact for employees who have queries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
  • Support the employee lifecycle process, including onboarding, offboarding, contract renewals, and personnel file management, ensuring compliance with GDPR and internal policies.
  • Support recruitment processes, including interview scheduling, candidate communication, feedback follow-up, and recruitment document preparation.
  • Maintain and track annual leave records and team-building budget usage.
  • Support performance management cycles, including data collection, document preparation, and assistance with bonus calculation.
  • Support payroll processes by preparing employee change data and assisting with payroll accuracy checks.
  • Assist with procurement and vendor management for HR-related services, such as insurance providers, including contract renewal, cost analysis, invoice processing, and payment follow-up.
  • Maintain the monthly staff list and provide ad-hoc support in HR data preparation, reporting, and analysis.
  • Support HR operational improvements and participate in HR-related projects when required.
  • Complete other tasks assigned by the line manager.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate student or above; major in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Law, Data Analysis, or related fields is preferred.
  • Previous HR internship or part-time working experience is preferred but not essential.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese are preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, sense of responsibility, and ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Good organisational and time management skills, with the ability to follow up on multiple tasks.
  • Basic knowledge of UK employment practices, GDPR, or HR processes would be an advantage.
