The Billing Manager will lead a team of 7, overseeing billing, accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP). The role emphasizes accuracy, compliance, process improvement, and strong customer/supplier relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Billing & Financial Management: Manage customer billing cycles and ensure timely invoice issuance. Process customer receipts, supplier invoices, and payments accurately. Conduct cash flow forecasting and align it with company goals. Monitor and enhance AP/AR reporting for financial accuracy. Oversee the investigation and resolution of historical Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) discrepancies, ensuring team members address issues effectively to maintain accurate financial records. Proactively chase outstanding debts and assess debt risks. Use AR aging reports to collaborate with customers and sales teams to resolve delinquent balances. Investigate and resolve escalated collection issues.
- Process Improvement & Compliance: Identify and implement process improvements to optimize billing efficiency. Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and external regulations. Conduct root cause analyses in collaboration with internal teams.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable Operations: Oversee AP processes, including invoice reconciliation and supplier statement reconciliations. Escalate and resolve supplier queries and assist in AP process development. Lead, coach, and develop the Billing team. Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams to resolve billing issues.
Experience: Minimum 3 years in Billing or Finance.
Interpersonal Skills: Strong relationship-building abilities.
Technical Skills: Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables).
Language: Mandarin speaking (essential for communication with the parent company or clients).
