This is a full-time hybrid role for a Digital Print and Finishing Engineer, based in Oswestry with an option for partial remote work. The role involves the installation, configuration, and maintenance of wide-format printing and finishing equipment. The engineer will manage equipment integration into customer workflows, conduct training sessions, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure optimal performance of digital print and finishing solutions. Responsibilities also include diagnosing and solving hardware or software-related problems and providing on-site and remote technical support to clients.
Qualifications:
- Strong skills in Electronics and experience with hardware diagnostics and maintenance
- Expertise in Software and equipment-related software configuration
- Knowledge of Integration processes for incorporating print and finishing equipment into larger systems
- Ability to provide effective training and support to clients during and after installations
- Excellent problem-solving, time management, and communication skills
- Relevant technical qualifications or certifications, and prior experience in the printing or electronics industry, are a plus
