A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Cleaner to join our team at China Fleet Country Club, set within 180 acres of beautiful Cornish countryside, just 15 minutes from Plymouth city centre. As a Cleaner, you will help maintain the high standards of cleanliness and presentation expected throughout the Club, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for our members and guests.
Duties include:
- Cleaning a variety of areas across the Club, including the male communal changing rooms and toilet facilities.
- Replenishing supplies such as soap and toilet paper.
- Reporting maintenance and safety concerns.
- Following health and safety procedures.
- Providing a high standard of customer service.
The successful applicant will be required to enter male changing areas during opening hours when members may be present and may, at times, be undressed or partially clothed. As these areas are predominantly open-plan, cleaners must be able to respond promptly to spillages, hygiene issues and other cleaning requirements. Delaying access or temporarily closing the changing areas is not practical in these circumstances.
To protect the privacy and dignity of our members and enable the role to be carried out appropriately, applications are invited from male candidates only, as this role is subject to a Genuine Occupational Requirement under the Equality Act 2010.
Hours of Work are 14 per week - Tuesday 5pm-8.30pm, Thursday 5pm-8.30pm, Saturday 5pm-8.30pm, Sunday 5pm-8.30pm. Additional hours will be available to cover annual leave and sickness absence.
