Kitchen Porter / Kitchen Assistant
China Chef Restaurant – Colchester
Part time between 10 to 30 hours per week.
We are a Chinese restaurant located in the town centre of Colchester.
We are looking for a kitchen porter / kitchen assistant. Main duties include washing of crockery, pans and utensils using a commercial dishwasher. General cleaning, sweeping and mopping. Assisting chefs with food preparation, cutting and prepping of food.
Flexible working hours, split between daytime and evening shifts. Typical working hours:-
Daytime shift: 10.30am till 2pm
Evening shift: 5pm till 10pm
These hours are suitable for those seeking employment who who have their main priorities as full-time education or parenting younger children to earn a side income.
For those seeking full-time employment then it is essential there is a commitment to work all the daytime and evening shifts of Fridays and Saturdays, and there will be an opportunity to work many working hours.
