The Role
Holland & Barrett is one of the world's largest health and wellness retailers, and the VHMS (Vitamins, Herbs, Minerals & Supplements) team sits right at the heart of what we sell. This is a buying team that moves fast, thinks commercially, and takes its ranges seriously. We're looking for someone to come in and keep everything running at pace.
What you'll actually be doing:
- Managing the end-to-end promotional planning process, working with suppliers to nail down product, pricing and availability.
- Producing and analysing daily, weekly and monthly trading reports to flag risks and opportunities.
- Supporting range reviews - gathering new line data and samples from suppliers.
- Keeping product data, cost prices, retail prices and supplier information accurate and up to date.
- Monitoring competitor activity and market trends to feed into pricing and range strategy.
- Owning the invoicing process and resolving supplier queries.
- Keeping the team organised - booking meetings, running supplier events, taking notes and managing actions.
How we'll see your impact:
- Promotions land on time because you've kept the process tight and the suppliers accountable.
- Reports surface the right risks and opportunities before they become problems.
- The buyers can focus on strategy because the data, admin and supplier comms are in safe hands.
The Person
What you'll need:
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs are table stakes here - comfort with large datasets matters).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines without dropping the ball.
- Clear, confident communication - with suppliers, internal teams and senior stakeholders.
- Experience with promotions or pricing systems in a retail environment would be a bonus, but isn't essential.
What we offer:
- The salary reflects impact of the role.
- 25 days holiday + 8 Bank Holidays.
- 25% staff discount across our range - plus free online delivery - so you can live the wellness you help deliver.
- Pension contributions - because future-you deserves a break.
- Free wellness diagnostic tests - knowing your health is the first step to improving it.
- Exclusive discounts on wellness services, gym memberships, and more.
- Perks from other retailers - discounts, advice, and savings from brands you actually use.
- A culture of wellbeing - from mental health support to menopause coaching, we're serious about helping you feel your best.
We're passionate about helping every colleague thrive across all dimensions of wellbeing, and we're committed to having a diverse and inclusive workplace. In line with our EPIC values (Expertise, Pioneering, Inclusive, Caring), we embrace and actively celebrate all our colleagues' unique and varying experiences, backgrounds, identities and cultures - I am me, we are H B.
