The China-Britain Business Council (CBBC) is the UK’s national business network promoting trade and investment with China. Since 1954 we have acted as the independent voice of business, located at the heart of the action, engaging across both countries in every sector and region. CBBC supports our members and partners by delivering the advice, analysis and access which they need to seize the China opportunity. Our diverse membership includes the UK’s leading companies and universities, dynamic UK SMEs, and a growing number of Chinese companies exporting to and investing in the UK.
We are seeking a talented, creative and dynamic individual to lead CBBC’s events in the UK. The role will entail managing a varied and large number of events designed to promote UK-China trade and investment, and to continuously grow and bolster CBBC’s core offering of helping UK companies develop a deeper understanding and connection with China. The role requires an energetic team player with event management experience and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- The successful applicant will be responsible for planning, budgeting, and execution of events and marketing the opportunities to reach our target audience.
- You will also work with colleagues from across the organisation to ensure the events’ programme is organised and developed effectively.
