Job Title: Interim Head of Financial Reporting
Location: Woking
Contract Type: 12 Month FTC

Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with UK GAAP and IFRS reporting standards.
- Oversee statutory audit processes and deliverables, ensuring compliance with internal controls, VAT requirements, and operational policies.
- Support Balance Sheet, Cashflow Forecasting, Budgets, and Forex reporting.
- Lead operational areas such as reconciliations, FX policies, revenue recognition, accruals, WIP, and delegated authorities.
- Take ownership of month-end and year-end close processes and reporting deliverables.
- Review and enhance internal processes, controls, and system improvements to ensure financial accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Effectively manage, train, and develop the finance operations team, setting goals, conducting appraisals, and ensuring high performance.
- Oversee team workflows, customer service delivery, and cross-functional collaboration.
Qualifications and Experience
- In-depth technical accounting knowledge, including UK GAAP / IFRS.
- Experience of managing / motivating a large operational finance team.
- A track record of driving improved efficiencies.
