About the Role.
Weβre seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Private Client Solicitor to join a well-established Private Client team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a solicitor or chartered legal executive looking to develop their career within a supportive and forward-thinking firm.
The successful candidate will work alongside experienced lawyers, advising a diverse client base on a broad range of private client matters, including Wills, estate planning, trusts, powers of attorney, and probate.
We welcome applications from solicitors & chartered legal executives with 0-6 years PQE, as well as paralegals with good experience. We also encourage soon to be qualified solicitors who have completed a Private Client seat during their training contract and are keen to build a career in this area.
Key Responsibilities
- Advising clients on the preparation of Wills, trusts, and estate planning.
- Handling probate and estate administration matters from start to finish.
- Preparing and registering Lasting Powers of Attorney.
- Advising on inheritance tax and succession planning issues.
- Managing and developing relationships with clients, intermediaries, and colleagues across the firm.
- Assisting senior team members with complex matters and supporting departmental projects.
- Maintaining excellent file management, compliance, and client care standards.
About You
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales (0β6 years PQE), Chartered Legal Executive, or well experienced Paralegal.
- Soon to be qualified solicitors are encouraged to apply if they have completed a Private Client seat.
- A genuine interest in Private Client work and developing long-term client relationships.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive matters with empathy and professionalism.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A proactive, team-oriented approach with a commitment to high standards of client care.
