We are seeking a Senior Assistant Teacher—a dedicated professional who is passionate about supporting young people and helping them achieve their full potential. This role plays a vital part in the daily life of our classrooms, ensuring continuity of learning, promoting inclusion and supporting staff and students across the school.
What You Will Do
- Supervise and lead whole classes during short-term teacher absences
- Support small groups and individual pupils, including those with additional needs
- Deliver engaging lessons within a pre-prepared framework
- Collaborate with teachers on planning, preparation and resource development
- Promote positive behaviour, independence and inclusion in line with school policies
- Provide constructive feedback to pupils to support progress
- Mentor, guide and support Teaching Assistants, contributing to their professional growth
