Overview
The overall responsibility for this post is to provide excellent day-to-day pastoral care for students at Chiltern Academy.
The Assistant Head of Year will have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills including the ability to inspire, motivate and support all members of the school community to carry the school vision forward.
Responsibilities
- To work alongside the Head of Year, and other members of the pastoral team on day-to-day issues within the school.
- To work with a range of teaching and support staff in school, and external partners as appropriate, to promote positive learning behaviour with students and support students\' personal and academic development by removing barriers to learning.
- In line with our commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our pupils, this appointment will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
