Overview

You will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll, maintaining financial records, raising invoices, and ensuring income is correctly recorded. Working alongside our Finance Managers and the Finance Operations Officer, you will deliver high-quality financial administration across the Trust, contributing directly to the effective running of our schools.

Responsibilities

  • Process payroll changes, expenses, unpaid leave, holiday pay and mileage
  • Maintain pension records for LGPS and Teachers' Pension Scheme
  • Raise and issue sales invoices and follow up outstanding payments
  • Reconcile income from local authorities and other bodies
  • Maintain accurate income databases and support capital grant and income monitoring
  • Support the Finance Team with a range of ad hoc finance tasks

Qualifications

  • AAT Level 2 (minimum) or equivalent finance qualification
  • Experience in finance and payroll, ideally within education or the public sector
  • Confident user of finance and payroll systems (e.g. Xero, Edupay)
  • Excellent Excel skills and strong numerical accuracy
  • A proactive, organised team player with high attention to detail
  • Someone who shares our Trust values and is committed to supporting our SEMH/ASC community

Contract

25 - 30 hours per week, 42 - 52 weeks per year to be agreed, permanent

Salary: £30,361 - £32,594 FTE (pro rata salary £18,581.12 - £26,427.57) depending on experience and hours worked
