Chiltern Way Academy Futures is seeking a compassionate and committed individual to join our team as a Safeguarding Welfare & Attendance Support (SWAS). We support young people who have been excluded or are at risk, offering a fresh start in a nurturing environment. Our work includes on-site provision, outreach support, and home tuition for learners with medical needs.

About the Role

You will play a key role within our safeguarding team, working closely with the Safeguarding, Welfare and Attendance Manager (SWAM). You will:

  • Provide pastoral and therapeutic support to students
  • Respond to safeguarding, attendance and welfare concerns
  • Work closely with families and external agencies
  • Support emotional-based school avoidance (EBSA)
  • Contribute to a strong, collaborative safeguarding team
