Our client, a growing and dynamic business, is looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead a fast-paced warehouse operation. This role requires a strong mix of leadership and hands-on management—balancing efficiency, quality control, and team motivation. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to foster a high-performing workplace culture.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and train a warehouse team, ensuring performance targets are met.
- Oversee the preparation of customer orders, maintaining high accuracy and quality.
- Control stock levels, conduct stocktakes, and manage date-checking procedures.
- Plan and manage rotas to optimise workflow and minimise overtime.
- Maintain health and safety standards in line with legal requirements.
- Foster a high-performance culture while supporting and motivating the team.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Warehouse management or supervisory experience (minimum 2 years).
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to problem-solve and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable using technology for stock and warehouse management.
- A proactive and positive approach.
- Forklift licence (Counterbalance)
