Chiltern Railways provides essential commuter and regional rail services, connecting Central London with Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Warwickshire, and long-distance routes to the West Midlands. Chiltern Railway is seeking someone to lead the development and implementation of our revenue protection strategy. This role will be instrumental in supporting our revenue growth objectives by ensuring an effective and innovative approach to revenue protection and fare evasion management. Reporting to the Head of Commercial, the Revenue Protection Strategy Manager will be responsible for designing Chiltern's revenue protection strategy and then leading the implementation and business change. This role will ensure compliance with industry standards, engage with key stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement through data-driven insights and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage CRCL’s revenue protection strategy and policy to ensure effectiveness and cost efficiency.
- Own and oversee the prosecution policy, ensuring it aligns with legal and operational best practices.
- Represent CRCL in industry forums and partnerships, contributing to policy development and best practice sharing.
- Implement innovative solutions to tackle the evolving nature of fare evasion and associated risks.
- Utilise market intelligence and data analysis to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
- Work closely with the Revenue Protection & Events Manager to ensure resources are deployed efficiently for optimal return on investment.
- Lead CRCL’s internal and external revenue protection communications strategy, in collaboration with marketing and internal communications teams.
