Salary: £46,046.14 per annum - which is made up of:

  • Basic salary: £37,716.82
  • Pen shift allowance: £7,681.90
  • Annualised hours: £647.42

Requirements: Full UK Driver's license required.

Purpose of the role: To support the engineering function through the effective management and control of material, tooling, equipment and keys.

Key Accountabilities:

  • The issuing of stock and control of tooling & equipment to qualified engineering staff.
  • The booking in and storage of material delivered.
  • Unloading and loading of delivery vehicles using both the forklift and the crane where required.
  • Filing of all paperwork for ordering and receipting of material purchased, ensuring accurate records are kept and maintained in accordance with Data Protection.
  • Maintaining and building on our good relationships with our internal customers and external suppliers.
  • Processing the return of warranty material to the relevant suppliers if required.
  • General tidiness of storage at Aylesbury Depot and any other location they may be required to work at.
  • Stock checking all warehouses listed above on a regular basis for accuracy of stock on hand.
  • Look for continuous improvement of the Depot and outstations stores.
  • Provide cover for the Stores Roster if required.
  • Provide cover for the Stores Driver and Wembley Storeman as required.

  • Undertake other relevant duties as directed by the Stores Supervisor and the Stores & Logistics Manager.
  • Forklift Licence (Desirable).
