Exciting opportunity for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer - Offshore & Renewable Project. Are you a future-thinking problem solver with a passion for engineering challenges? We are working with a leading offshore technology company that is on a mission to shape the future of the energy sector, and they are seeking a talented Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join their growing team in the South of England (fully remote work is available, as well as working in one of their UK offices if you would rather be hybrid or fully office based).

As a Senior Geotechnical Engineer, you will become a key member of a multi-disciplinary engineering team working on a wide variety of interesting projects. These include engineering design and analysis at various stages: conceptual, feasibility, FEED, detailed design, and installation. You will take on a leadership role, developing strong relationships with both your team and clients. Your work will contribute to the technical excellence demanded by the company across offshore riser and renewable energy projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and analysis of offshore foundations (e.g., gravity base, piled, suction can, anchors) along with installation performance.
- Collaborate closely with other engineering disciplines to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients.
- Work both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team to solve complex engineering problems.
- Share your knowledge and expertise with the team, mentoring others where possible.
- Clearly communicate the results of your analyses to the wider engineering team.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
- Experience in geotechnical design or site investigation, ideally within the offshore energy sector.
- Degree in Civil Engineering (BEng ideally; they may have completed a Masters but ideally have studied at Bachelors level Civil Engineering first).
- Knowledge of ground investigation, geotechnical engineering, and geological processes.
- Competency in conducting data assessments and performing geotechnical analyses.
- Proficiency to produce technical reports and presentations.
- Graduates in Civil Engineering will be considered if they have some offshore acquiring data skills.
