The Role
The Quality Engineer candidate will be conducting inspections, resolving supplier issues as well as carrying out internal and external audits with the support of the team. We are looking for an experienced individual to influence others to investigate quality related issues and implement innovative changes throughout the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out mechanical inspections and disciplines
- Programming using Mitutoyo CMM and MCOSMOS Software
- Carrying out QMS audits
- Providing support services and inspection, measurement expertise and programming diagnostic analysis of problems and facilitate solutions
- Investigating customer returns
- Purchasing metrology tools and calibration services required by the company
- Identifying root causes and instigating permanent corrective actions for production quality
Requirements
- Ideally 4 years + in Inspection particularly CMM Measurement System
- Experience in supplier quality management
- Worked within manufacturing environment
- Six Sigma trained
