A cutting edge Mechanical Engineer opportunity has arisen with a worldwide market leading multinational engineering company working with clients in the automotive, aerospace, renewable, scientific, pharmaceutical, electronics, oil and gas and food processing industries. We are working alongside this global leader in automation technology, who are creating innovative solutions that power everything from electric vehicles to semiconductor manufacturing.

The Role

As a Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer, you will work alongside experienced engineers to develop custom automation solutions. You will gain hands-on experience with product design, testing, and technical support while building your expertise in international standards and manufacturing processes.

Essential Requirements of the Mechanical Engineer:

  • Ideally you will be degree qualified with a MEng or BEng in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering degree
  • Understanding of basic Electrical principles
  • Experience with 3D modelling software (preferably SolidWorks)
  • Team player with ability to work independently
  • Knowledge of electro-pneumatic control systems

Would be great, but not essential:

  • Any experience with jigs, fixtures, or machine design
  • Placement year or internship experience
