What you'll be doing Working alongside experienced engineers, you'll become a technical expert supporting advanced electrical automation products across Europe. Your role will include: - Programming and configuring PLC systems - Supporting engineers and customers with technical queries - Investigating faults and troubleshooting electrical and communication issues - Testing and evaluating new products - Producing technical documentation, user guides and reports - Delivering technical presentations and training to European colleagues - Supporting new product development and continuous improvement projects - Occasionally travelling within Europe to support customers, attend exhibitions and collaborate with international teams No two days are the same, making this an excellent opportunity to broaden both your technical and commercial engineering skills. What we're looking for - A Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Software or Electromechanical Engineering - Around 1-3 years' industry experience - An understanding of PLC programming using Ladder Logic or Structured Text - Strong problem-solving skills and an inquisitive approach - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - A willingness to travel occasionally within Europe It would be an advantage if you've worked with: - PROFINET, EtherNet/IP or EtherCAT - OPC UA or IO-Link - Siemens TIA Portal, Beckhoff TwinCAT or Rockwell Studio 5000 - Technical product support - Delivering training or presentations - Project work - European or Japanese languages Don't worry if you don't have experience with everything listed above.
