At capacity, the school will be asix-form entry, co-educational, non-selective secondary with a 240-place6thform.We are currently looking for excellent, highly motivated staff, with the vision and aspiration to be a part of a school from its opening through to its first A-level results day; bringing to life the United Learning ethos of the Best in Everyone through a curriculum, culture, environment, and structure that provides an exceptional educational offer for local young people.Staff will form a dynamic team who are supportive, friendly, and dedicated to instilling the qualities of pride, respect, and resilience in the next generation of children, preparing them for successful, fulfilling, and enjoyable adult lives. Chilmington Green School is a co-educational, non-selective Secondary school which opened in September 2023. It will grow to become a 6-form entry school with a sixth form of 240 pupils. The school will build on United Learning’s successful track record locally and nationally, providing an excellent secondary education for local children. The successful candidate will join the school at a key point in the school’s growth as our new, state-of-the-art building will open in September 2025. We are recruiting for a full-time Premises Assistant to start ASAP. A good range of site maintenance skills, including general repairs, cleaning and decorating, will be required for the role along with an understanding of Health and Safety procedures. Familiarity with Office 365 and good ICT skills for record keeping are also desirable. The ideal candidate is proactive, reliable, organised and happy to be part of a small but inclusive team. The role will involve some manual labour, including lifting furniture and equipment to statutory limits. A first aid qualification, or willingness to attain one, is also essential.
As this is a keyholding post, some out of hours attendance is required for which time off in lieu or overtime payment is available.
