We\’re looking for a Social Media & Community Manager to amplify our battle against single-use plastics. Since 2010, we\’ve been disrupting the status quo—building a movement of urban creatives who choose reusable over throwaway culture.

You won\’t just be posting content—you\’ll be cultivating a community that shares our disruptive vision and accelerating the adoption of reusable products through authentic social

Since day one, our mission has remained unchanged: accelerate the adoption and everyday use of reusable products. Our community of urban creatives demand authentic brands that deliver both style and substance—from trend-driven culture enthusiasts to performance-focused achievers to design-conscious minimalists.

This role is about connecting with our audience where they spend their time, building genuine relationships that drive meaningful change.

Must have experience & Skills

  • 3-5 years of social media management experience, ideally with lifestyle or design-focused brands
  • Proven track record of building engaged communities, not just follower counts
  • Strong understanding of our target demographic—urban creatives who value quality, design, and cultural capital
  • Experience working with UGC and identifying authentic brand advocates

Mindset & Approach

  • Natural ability to spot and create shareable moments without following obvious trends
  • Confident communication skills that reflect our distinctive brand personality
  • Collaborative spirit—you understand that the best content comes from cross-functional teamwork
  • Passion for sustainability and reusable products, but an understanding that guilt-tripping doesn\’t drive change

Nice to have

  • Experience in the lifestyle, design, or outdoor/active lifestyle sectors
  • Knowledge of urban creative culture and the spaces our audience frequents
  • Basic content creation skills (photography, video editing)
  • Understanding of how social drives ecommerce performance

Working closely with our Senior Marketing Manager and Ecommerce team, you\’ll own the day-to-day management of our social presence while building a thriving community of brand advocates.

This isn\’t a role for trend-followers. It\’s for someone who creates their own moments and builds genuine connections with our rebellious, design-obsessed audience.

What You\’ll Be Doing

Community Building & Engagement

  • Cultivate authentic relationships with our urban creative audience across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and emerging platforms
  • Drive meaningful conversations that ladder up to our mission—not just vanity metrics
  • Identify and nurture brand advocates within urban creative communities

Content Creation & Curation

  • Work with the Senior Marketing Manager to develop content briefs that reflect our disruptive, authentic, and obsessive brand personality
  • Source and curate user-generated content that showcases real customers using Chilly\’s products in their active urban lifestyles
  • Ensure all content maintains our distinctive tone of voice—rebellious but relatable, confident but humble
  • Manage day-to-day posting, community management, and real-time engagement across all social platforms
  • Adapt content and messaging for each platform while maintaining brand consistency
  • Stay ahead of algorithm changes and platform best practices
  • Partner closely with the Ecommerce team on organic content that supports paid social campaigns
  • Provide regular performance insights that connect social engagement to our broader mission
  • Work cross-functionally with Product and Marketing teams to amplify launches and campaign.
