As Chilly’s

Logistics & Supply Chain Specialist, you will be the driver of our post‑purchase and fulfilment journey.

You will run key projects from concept to delivery with minimal support, taking full ownership of our key logistics success measures.

You will obsess over the consumer experience—ensuring our premium products reach our community swiftly and seamlessly.

From leading the management of our vital UK and EU 3PL partners to overseeing specialised personalisation operations, you’ll execute team‑wide priorities with pace and precision.

You will act as a key commercial partner, proactively reviewing how work gets done, identifying friction points, and implementing simpler, faster ways to complete tasks to deliver value for the business.

Skills & Experience

  • Logistics

Expertise: Strong experience in Logistics, 3PL management, or Supply Chain roles, ideally within physical consumer goods (FMCG/Durable Goods) or a fast‑paced lifestyle brand environment.

  • Project Management: Proven ability to run supply chain projects from concept to delivery with minimal support, managing and owning at least one key success measure.
  • Commercial Acumen: Solid experience in carrier/vendor rate negotiations, detailed invoice reconciliation, and cost forecasting.
  • People Management: Experience in line managing direct reports, with a commitment to putting positive people management and feedback learnings into practice.
  • Analytical Thinker: Skilled at using data and direct feedback to identify bottlenecks and implement simpler, faster processes.
  • Compliance Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of international import/export rules, customs requirements, and trade compliance.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Confident communicator who thrives in cross‑functional team environments and values face‑to‑face collaboration.
  • Mobility: Willingness and ability to spend at least 1 day per fortnight at our Bedford warehouse, with visits to other sites.

Performance: Manage our UK and EU‑based 3PL partners clearly and effectively.

Run regular SLA reviews, hold partners to high standards, proactively resolve operational issues, and maintain transparent internal and external communication.

Optimisation: Monitor carrier performance, troubleshoot delivery blockages, and support the resolution of complex issues to guarantee a consistently high‑quality consumer delivery experience.

  • On‑Site Collaboration: Spend at least one day per fortnight at our primary warehouse in Bedford, alongside regular visits to our other warehouse sites to align and collaborate.
  • Warehouse Tenders & Moves: Lead the delivery of critical warehouse tenders and physical moves from concept to completion with minimal support, keeping projects strictly on track.

  • Cross‑Functional Connection: Partner closely with our Ecommerce and Customer Service teams to improve delivery options and elevate the customer experience.

Leadership: Provide line management to our Logistics Assistant as well as the Warehouse engraving team.

Proactively seek out relevant manager training, provide constructive performance feedback, and support them daily with operational escalations to raise the collective bar.

  • Health and Safety: Working with the warehouse team to ensure the highest standards of Health and Safety are upheld throughout the engraving operation.
